GEFILTE AND PUPIK

Gefilte represents the taste of love and home, as well as the traditions that make us who we are as good, caring human beings. Gefilte is inspired by a homemade fish dish that Baseman’s mother served on special occasions and holidays.

Pupik, Gefilte’s pal, translates into “bellybutton” in Yiddish. The sound of words often fascinates the artist so much that they become names of characters.
