Best-selling board game Cranium broke out in the late 1990s. From the beginning, Cranium co-inventors Richard Tait and Whit Alexander brought on Gary Baseman to create the visual identity of this award-winning board game, including the iconic characters of Word Worm, Creative Cat, Data Head, and Star Performer. Cranium changed the way board games looked and how they were played, using multiple parts of the brain and encouraging players to share their diverse talents.
