Gary Baseman Studio are proud to announce the miraculous hatching of MINI MANNY MOAS. On this rare day of Leap Day, a trio of flightless birds have emerged from extinction. 

Descendants of Manny Moa from Baseman’s Memento Moa series, Hop, Skip, and Jump represent a new generation of hopeful, open-minded, joyous spirit. 

They can’t fly, but they can HOP, SKIP, and JUMP!

The Mini Manny Moas will leave the nest around the first day of Spring, if not sooner. Like most birds, they’ll leave when they’re ready.
