This week we are celebrating my new kittens, Beverly & Fairfax, on the cover of the @nytimes @nytkids !!!
I was also commissioned to illustrate a double page spread inside too.

IT’S ALL DUMB LUCK.
Today is the 26th Anniversary of the opening of my first solo LA Exhibition DUMB LUCK and Other Paintings About Lack of Control. This iconic image of a Bunny wanting nothing more than his Lucky Rabbit’s Foot, at the expense of losing his own leg, played a big role in my early painting and Urban Vinyl Career.

I love this city where I was born and bred, and this year we have gone through so many challenges. This drawing depicts my beloved Bosko cat who I lost at the end of 2024, and after the early 2025 fires, Bosko raises like the phoenix blowing our Los Angeles a LOVE BUBBLE!
